Celebrate Fate

The City of Fate will host the Fifth Annual Celebrate Fate on Saturday, September 22 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Fate City Hall located at 1900 CD Boren Parkway.


Live Music
The Mars Hill Band will perform from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Kids' Activities
From bounce house to games there are lots of FREE kids’ activities

Craft Shopping
More than 30 craft vendors will have offering for purchase.

NEW Bike Derby

New this year is a bike derby with a helmet give-away and one luck winner will go home with a new bike! Kids and adults will hear a short bike safety presentation and personnel will be available for FREE helmet fittings. Participants will gather to decorate their bikes and prepare to parade around Robert Smith Family Park. Then receive rock star parking right at Fate City Hall! This event will take place prior to the beginning of the Celebrate Fate from 4 to 5 p.m.

4:00 - 4:30 p.m. - Participants arrive and decorate bikes
- Free helmet give away & fittings by Just Cuz Helmets Matter
- Bike safety education by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall
4:30 p.m. - Presentation and Drawing for Bike give away
4:40 p.m.  - Bike parade around Round Robert Smith Family Park
5:00 p.m.  - VIP bike parking at Fate City Hall

Fireworks Show

To cap off the evening, starting at about 7:30 p.m. grab your seat and enjoy the best firework show in the Dallas area!

The first 1,600 festival goers will receive a FREE meal sponsored by: In-N-Out Burger®

Taste of Fate
Local Fate restaurants will also offering a limited number of FREE dinners to get a taste of what Fate has to offer. 

Drinks and Snack Items
Snacks and drinks will also be sold this year. Snack items items include cotton candy, Italian ice, snow-cones and pies. 

Families are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, blankets and/or lawn chairs to spend the evening enjoying music and the fireworks show.  


A limited number of free festival t-shirts and goody bags will be distributed while supplies last.  


On-street parking will be available along CD Boren Parkway, at Miss May Vernon Elementary School and Billie Stevenson Elementary. Limited handicap parking is accessible at the schools. Bike parking will be available at Fate City Hall.
